KARACHI: Attack on mosque condemned

KARACHI, April 14: Speakers at a demonstration on Saturday condemned the attack on a Tunisia Line mosque and alleging biased attitude of the administration, demanded the release of Mufti Yusuf Kasuri.

Speaking at the demonstration, organized by Tahafuz Huqooq Ahle Hadis Council Sindh at the Press Club, they said that though the attack on the Ahle Hadis mosque was carried out by members of a sectarian organization and mosque property was also destroyed, a case has also been registered against the Ahle Hadis people.

They claimed that members of the sectarian organization were creating law and order situation in the Lines Area, and even the people who offered prayers at that mosque had been directed to leave the area. They also demanded that the sectarian organization be banned. Allama Abdullah Ghazi, Mohammad Salfi, Naveed Qamar, Qari Asghar Salfi, Qari Khalil-ur-Rehman and others also spoke.
