KARACHI, April 4: A division bench of the Sindh High Court comprising Chief Justice Sabihuddin Ahmed and Justice Gulzar Ahmed on Wednesday admitted an appeal for regular hearing filed by the trustee of Al-Rasheed Trust, challenging the freezing of trust's accounts and sealing of its offices by the government.
The government sealed all offices of Al-Rasheed Trust on Feb 18, besides freezing its bank accounts and banning its activities owing to a UNSC resolution that banned the trust activities for its alleged links with Al Qaeda and other terrorist organisations.— PPI
