KARACHI, April 4: Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Senior Vice President Sahibzada Munir Khan died here on Wednesday morning in a local hospital. He was 71. Munir Khan was shifted to hospital from his residence. He has left behind four sons and two daughters.

His funeral prayer will be held on Thursday at Sultan Masjid, Defence Phase IV after Zuhr prayers. He will be laid to rest at Gizri Graveyard.

Fateha Soyem would be held on Friday after Asr prayers at 5/B KDA Scheme -1 on Sharea Faisal near Lal Qila. Sahibzada Munir, was first cousin of Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri. He belonged to the princely State Lohari.

Before joining PML-Q, he was Senior Vice President of PML-N and contested NA seat on its ticket in 1997 general election from Karachi but lost to the MQM candidate. He also held offices in different social organisations.—Staff Reporter
