Woman shot dead by nephew

SANGHAR, Jan 5: A man killed his paternal aunt on the suspicion of adultery in Haider Khan Mari village near Tando Adam on Friday. Mukhtiar Ali Manganhar suspected that his aunt Allah Bachai had illicit relations with a man of the same village. He shot her dead with a gun and fled.

The body was shifted to the taluka hospital. The police are investigating. Meanwhile, a man was injured by bandits who were looting passengers on a link road near Shahdadpur on Friday.

The bandits blocked the road near Burundi Shakh and started looting the occupants of cars and motorcycles.

They signalled two motorcyclists to stop but they did not. The bandits fired at them as a result Mitho Rind, resident of Umed Ali Rind village, was injured.
