SHIKARPUR: Man, woman killed

SHIKARPUR, Oct 13: A man and a woman were killed in Jagan wah village in Shikarpur taluka on Friday morning.

They were identified as Sohni, 23, and Kamil, 26.

Accused Himat Ali suspected that his wife had illicit relations with Kamil Wadhiyo and he killed both of them with the help of his brother and a friend in his house.

The Hamayoon police registered a case against Himat Ali Wadhiyo, Jan Mohammad Wadhiyo and Iqbal Malik on the complaint of Qasim Wadhiyo, father of deceased Kamil.

No arrest was made till the filing of this report.

PROTEST: Activists of the Jeay Sindh Mahaz (Zain Shah) took out a procession on Friday in protest against ongoing tribal feuds in the district.

JSM vice-chairman Agha Qamar Mushwani led the protesters.

The protesters after marching on city roads, proceeded to troubled areas to meet notables of Marfani, Qambrani, Essani and Bakhrani tribes belonging to Shikarpur and Garhi Yasin talukas to press them for settlement of the on-going tribal feuds.
