KARACHI, June 28: Seven ships carrying containers, steel and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships including two to offload sugar were berthed. They are: Amar, Zara-3 to offload sugar, Al-Marwah to offload cement, Florida, to load molasses, Jade

Trader, APL Dalian and Mol Silver Fern to offload and load containers.

Four ships, Pu He, Perseverance, Corin Thaikos, Iron Butterfly departed on Wednesday, while APL Dalian, Jade Trader, Al-Marwah, Khairpur, Kota Wajar, and Florida are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total volume of 46,276 tons comprising 14,384 tons of export cargo and 31,892 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Opal, with palm oil, Orient Indpendence, Mar Calabria, Eric G. Gibson, Kota Tabah, with containers, Diamond progress, to load 4,000 tons of cement and Enricher, with steel cargo.
