KARACHI: Two guards found dead in bank

KARACHI, May 24: Two security guards posted at a bank were found dead in Gulistan-i-Jauhar on Wednesday morning. However, nothing was found missing from the bank premises, police said.

Police said that when the staff came to the bank branch in the morning the branch was closed. As the locks were removed, the two guards were found dead inside the bank.

Police said that security guards Maqsood and Javed

Iqbal of “Security 2000” were posted at the Bank Al Habib, Gulistan-i-Jauhar branch.

Police suspected food poisoning as a possible reason for their death.

Later, the bodies were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for postmortem examination.

RECOVERED: Three rockets were found from the premises of KWSB pumping station in Mauripur on Wednesday.

Police said that RPG-7 rockets were found from the water pumping station when it was being cleaned. However, no launcher was found along with the rockets from the premises, police added.
