KARACHI, April 28: An anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Friday reserved judgment in a kidnapping and killing case against a woman after hearing closing arguments of the Special Public Prosecutor and defence counsel.

Ms Shabana, 28, is charged with kidnapping and killing of Ragib Abbas Jaffery, 20, with four others in Gulistan-i-Jauhar in April 2004. She denied charge.

The accused, now on bail, was earlier declared an absconder in the case.

She is named, with other four accused Athar Mehmood, Khurrum Mushtaq, Asif and Sheryar who were earlier arrested and tried by the trial court under the above mentioned charge.

The accused had made the victim his friend through chatting on the internet.—PPI
