PESHAWAR, April 21: Immigration authorities at Peshawar airport on Thursday arrested two persons for attempting to travel on tampered documents. Officials said that the photograph on the passport of Noor Ayaz Khan of Bannu, who had arrived from Jeddah, was found to have been changed. The man had travelled to Saudi Arabia on April 15, 2003.

He was sent to the agency’s passport circle for interrogation, the official said.

Similarly, the officials said, Gulap’s passport was also found to have been tampered with. The man belonged to Miramshah and had gone to Saudi Arabia in August 2002. He said that he had got the passport from a travel agency.
