KARACHI: Minister visits hospitals

KARACHI, April 16: Sindh Health Minister Shabbir Ahmed Qaimkhani visited Civil Hospital Karachi and Bantwa Hospital to inquire about the health of injured of Nishtar Park tragedy.

He visited Surgical ICU, Orthopaedic and Surgical-II wards and presented bouquets to 18 injured in the CHK and three injured in the Bantwa Hospital on behalf of the governor on Saturday night.

The health minister listened to the complaints of the patients and ordered suspension of a male nurse and warned a doctor for their negligence. He also presented a bouquet to press photographer Javed Jaija, who was also injured while covering the Nishtar Park event.

He also prayed for early recovery of the injured. —PPI
