KARACHI: Traffic plan for today


KARACHI, April 10: DIG Traffic Falak Khurshid on Monday announced traffic arrangements for Tuesday to ensure smooth flow of vehicular traffic amid congregations to be held and processions to be taken out in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) in various parts of the city.

According to the announcement, Nawab Siddiq Ali Khan Road would be closed for all kinds of traffic from Monday night and people should use following alternate routes to reach their destination.

All vehicular traffic coming to Business Recorder Road via Gurumandar would be diverted to Nishtar Road from Lasbella Chowk and they can reach their destinations through Teen Hatti, Liaquatabad Dakkhana and Golimar Chowrangi No 1. However, heavy traffic would not be allowed to enter this route.

Vehicles coming from New Karachi, North Nazimabad and Site areas would be diverted to Liaquatabad Dakkhana Chowk from Golimar Chowrangi No 1 and they can use Teen Hatti, Jehangir Road and Gurumandar to reach their places. Heavy traffic would be banned on these roads.

Parking of vehicles on Nawab Siddiq Ali Khan Road from Golimar Chowrangi No 1 to Lasbella Bridge would be strictly prohibited.

People are advised to adopt the said diversions to avoid any inconvenience. —PPI
