Salary increase for MCB staff

KARACHI, Dec 27: The Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) has increased salaries of its staff by 21 per cent, said a spokesman of the bank on Tuesday. The increase came as a result of management’s agreement with the union and consequently, the basic salary of the staff, both clerical and non-clerical, was raised by 21 per cent.

The MCB, which was earlier a state-owned bank, made tremendous progress with increased profits after its denationalization.
