KARACHI: Speedy justice top priority, says minister


KARACHI, May 3: “Access to Justice” is the top priority of government and ministry of law and justice is working promptly to ensure its effective implementation. This was stated by Federal Minister for Law Mohammad Wasi Zafar during a meeting with the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Sabihuddin Ahmed, here on Tuesday.

During the meeting strategies for speedy implementation of access to justice programme and effective utilization of funds came under discussion.

The federal minister also discussed issues pertaining to increase in the number of judges for quick and speedy disposal of cases pending in the courts.

He observed that court management and case management was to be developed on lines of efficiency with special consideration to inspection management. — APP
