PCB XI down Leicester

LAHORE, March 31: Fine batting by Kamran Sajid, Naved Latif and Khurram Manzoor propelled PCB XI to a six-wicket victory over the touring Leicestershire county side in a one-day match at the Sheikhupura Stadium on Thursday.

Kamran (78 off 125 balls with six fours), Naved (64 off 33 balls with six fours and two sixes) and Khurram (58 off 46 balls with eight fours and one six) guided PCB XI to their target of 264 in 42 overs.

Earlier, Leicestershire were well served by an unbeaten 108 by Paul Nixon and skipper H.D. Ackerman’s 71 as piled up 263 for five in the allotted 45 overs. Nixon hit eight fours and five sixes and faced 101 balls. Ackerman hit seven fours in his 76-ball knock.
