KARACHI, April 17: Judge Arshad Noor Khan of the Anti-Terrorism Court-III reserved judgment in a kidnapping-for-ransom case against three accused, including a woman, after hearing arguments from both sides.

Tahira alias Yasmeen, Ihsan Illahi and Furqan are being tried for allegedly kidnapping a businessman, Khawaja Mohammad Abbasi, from Light House area on Dec 23, 2003.

Special Public Prosecutor Naimat Ali Randhawa submitted that the prosecution had proved its case beyond any reasonable doubt and pleaded the court to award punishment to the accused.

He further stated that accused were arrested red-handed and abductee was recovered from their possession.-PPI
