KARACHI, April 3: Academic activities remained suspended at the Sindh Medical College on Saturday following violence on the campus on Friday.

In addition to suspension of teaching in classes, some of the MBBS practical examinations were also put off during the day. Now the IVth year pathology practical, scheduled for Saturday would be held on April 7, while those scheduled for April 5 would be held on April 8.

The college principal said in view of tension at the college and owing to holiday on April 5, the administration at the SMC made some alteration in its MBBS practical examinations schedule. He said that practical of April 5 would now be held on April 8.

The final year medicine subject practical, scheduled for April 5, would now be held on May 10. The IIIrd Year pharmacology practical would now start from April 6. However, students have been advised to get the revised schedule from college to avoid confusion.
