PESHAWAR, Aug 1: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has said that the provincial government wants good working relationship with the Centre.

Talking to a delegation of the People’s Party Parliamentarian led by MPA Abdul Akbar Khan here on Friday he said, the MMA-led government would also continue the process of consultation with the opposition and would carry on with the struggle to get just rights of the province.

Mr Durrani said the government and opposition members were jointly working for the development of the province.

Neither the government wanted to push the opposition to the wall nor the opposition wanted to destabilize the government, he said.

The PPPP delegation appreciated the chief minister and the MMA’s policy of keeping direct contacts with the people.

They also apprised the chief minister of the development schemes in their respective constituencies.
