KARACHI, April 10: The District Coordination Officer (DCO), Mir Hussain Ali, visited New Karachi and other areas on Thursday and directed the departments concerned for early resolution of the problems arising due to damaged roads in the city.

The DCO visited the Sindh Technical School, 5-M, New Karachi Road, 11-D and 5-C, 5-D, New Karachi Road, Nagan Chowrangi to UP More, up to Markazi Shahrah and Parveen Shakir Road.

He directed the departments concerned to conduct survey and prepare PC-1 for early repair of dilapidated roads in the areas, to present it before the meeting of the District Development Working Party for necessary approval.

The DCO also visited the Lyari area and took notice of the bad condition of Faqir Mohammad Dad Khan Road, Mehrab Khan and Esa Khan roads and asked the concerned officers to take immediate steps for improvement of these roads.—APP
