KARACHI, Oct 21: Two tankers carrying edible oil and furnace oil were allotted berths at Multipurpose and Fotco Oil Terminal during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, two more ships to load wheat and offload containers also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Six ships, Antigoni-B, Agious Nectorious, Lobelia, Chemstar Princess, Fair Mare and Thrasy Voulos-V were at the berths loading/offloading wheat, edible oil, furnace oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 42,915 tons comprising 34,660 tons of import cargo and 8,255 tons of export cargo was handled.

Five ships, United Trader, Incetrans, New Guardian, Malek and Hyderabad all to load wheat were at the outer anchorage.

Safmarine Kimley to offload containers was due to take berth at Qasim International Container Terminal.
