PESHAWAR, Aug 31: A representative of the Central Board of Revenue, Wakeel Khan, called on senior doctors of Health Department of NWFP here. The meeting besides the NWFP Minister for Health Dr Mehr Taj Roghani and Minister for Law & Local Government Athar Minallah was also attended by the chief executives of Hayatabad Medical Complex, Khyber Teaching Hospital and Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar.

The meeting discussed ways and means to assist the NWFP government in solving the problem of Institution-based Practice (IBP) of Doctors pertaining to CBR.

The health minister thanked the CBR for extending its support to the provincial government in resolving the doctors’ problems and hoped that the CBR would sort out a viable solution in this regard.—PPI
