KARACHI, Aug 12: Two ships scheduled to load and discharge crude oil and containers were allocated berths at Fotco Oil Terminal and Qasim International Containers Terminal during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Monday.

Six vessels, Arbat, Er Darwin, Saudi Diriyal, Anodad Naree, Al Tokaween, and Silver Gate were loading/offloading crude oil, containers, carbon oil and iron ore.

Er Darwin sailed out while Tokaween and Saudi Diriyal were due to leave.

A cargo volume of 40,161 tons comprising 14,430 tons of import cargo and 25,721 tons of export cargo, inclusive of cargo carried in 360 containers, was handled.

Following ships were at the outer anchorage:

Vessel Commodity Agent

Nur Yenbu Chemicals GAC

Bunga Saga-9 Iron Ore Seatrade

Two ships, Nur Yanbu and Qem Star, were expected to take berths at Marginal Wharf and Engro Vopak Terminal on Monday.
