KARACHI, May 21: Four ships carrying containers, crude oil and high speed diesel are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was relatively slow because of delayed arrivals. As a result, four ships, Kota Selam, Trade Selena to unload and load containers, Oriental Pheonix, to offload cars and Fuji Hoshi to load molasses were berthed after the sailing of three.

The ships, which sailed out included W.S. Berber, PONL Everest and Hua Yun-5, while Banglar Karoli and Winco Feeder are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total tonnage of 61,162 tons comprising 15,773 tons of export cargo and 45,389 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Johar, Korina, with crude oil and high speed diesel, Oriental Bright and Hammurabi, with containers.
