3 more collectors likely

ISLAMABAD, May 13: The government is likely to appoint three more adjudication collectors to facilitate the taxpayers from the next financial year.

The proposed collectors would be appointed at Multan, Peshawar and Hyderabad, officials sources told Dawn on Monday.

And the vacant posts of adjudication collectorates, the officials said, would be filled shortly to dispose of the pending cases.

Elaborating further, the officials said that for quick disposal of cases, the officers appointed in the collectorates of adjudication, would remain in their assignment for a minimum period of two years.

Those officials appointed in the adjudication collectorates will be compensated through additional allowances.
