Oil price rises

LONDON, March 19: Oil prices flirted with fresh six-month high points above $25 a barrel on Tuesday, as prospects for stronger demand and fears of disruption to Iraqi supplies hauled the market higher.

A barrel of Brent North Sea crude for May delivery rose as high as $25.21 at one point, up 14 cents on the day, before easing back later in the day to $25.04.—AFP
