SECP mobile team visits Sialkot

SIALKOT, Jan 28: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has assured the Sialkot business community of providing services at their doorsteps to facilitate in earlier registration of companies, besides resolving the post-registration problems of the companies in remote areas.

The assurance was made by mobile team from the SECP, headed by Liaqat Ali Dolla, joint registrar at a largely-attended meeting of the business community at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), here on Monday. The team visited various industrial units at Daska, Sambrial and Sialkot.

The mobile team, comprising Liaquat Ali Dolla joint registrar, Miss Uzma Hayat, deputy registrar III and Mr Boo Ali deputy registrar IV, told the meeting that some adequate measures are being taken to help in early resolving the problems of the registered companies.

In Sialkot, only 350 companies, out of 4,000, are registered with the registration office at Lahore.

The SECP mobile team assured the SCCI of early solution of these problems.
