Spurious drugs seized

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, April 15: The district drug inspector has recovered UN registered and fake injections from two medical stores, during his routine check-up on Sunday. The stock has been sealed and samples  sent to Drugs Laboratory Peshawar  for analysis.

The injections were found substandard. Some fake registration numbers were also found printed on the packing of the injections but actual vials were carrying no registration numbers.

Under the Drug Act, 1972, such outlets are liable to be sealed and cases registered against the runners.
