Sanjay’s bail plea hearing

MUMBAI, Aug 9: A bail plea by jailed Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt following a six-year sentence for arms possession linked to 1993 Mumbai terror blasts will be heard by India’s Supreme Court on Friday, his lawyers said.

Mr Dutt is serving the jail term in the Yerawada prison in Pune.

“The bail plea will come up for hearing early on Friday,” one of his lawyers said.—AFP
