Russian President Vladimir Putin has discussed the ongoing situation in the Gulf and Ukraine during a phone call with United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to the Kremlin, Al Jazeera reports.
Kremlin adds that Putin has expressed his gratitude to the UAE for its role in organising exchanges of prisoners of war and detainees between Russia and Ukraine.
