RAWALPINDI: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi (BISE) asked the marking officers to check the examination papers with honesty so that hard work of the students does not go in vain.

BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Professor Dr Iqbal Mahmood paid a detailed visit to the marking centre for the Intermediate First Annual Examination 2026, established at Government Graduate College GT Road, Jhelum.

On this occasion, he closely reviewed the process for examining papers, the standard of examination, administrative discipline and overall arrangements, while the principal of the college briefed him on the marking arrangements.

He directed that each examination paper should be examined with complete honesty, impartiality and uniform standards, so that every candidate can get results according to their real academic ability and performance.

He said that the reputation of the examination system, public trust and the good name of the institution are linked to a standard and fair examination; therefore, any kind of negligence, bias or deviation from the rules and regulations will not be tolerated.

He further directed that all examiners should perform their duties with responsibility, caution and integrity, fully adhering to the Board’s approved marking scheme, rules and regulations and professional principles.

He reiterated the commitment that the Education Board Rawalpindi will continue its efforts to further strengthen the credibility of the results and public confidence by ensuring quality, accountability, transparent conduct and the protection of the legitimate rights of the candidates at every stage of the examination system.
