The use of strategic oil reserves will be an “option under consideration” at a meeting of G7 finance ministers on the Middle East crisis on Monday, a French government source said, reports AFP.

The Financial Times had reported earlier that G7 finance ministers were scheduled to discuss a joint release of strategic oil reserves coordinated by the International Energy Agency.
