KARACHI: The Democrats once again swept the annual election of the Karachi Press Club on Saturday.

Fazil Jamili was elected president with 536 votes, and Aslam Khan was elected secretary with 493 votes.

Imran Ayub was elected treasurer with 622 votes, while Farooq Sami was elected joint secretary with 556 votes.

Members of the KPC governing body are Abdul Jabbar Nasir (629 votes), Akhtar Soomro (577 votes), Sheema Siddiqi (573 votes), Faryal Arif (571 votes), Javed Saba (512 votes), Farid Alam (459 votes) and Javed Mahar (426 votes).
