LAHORE: The Pakistan volleyball team will depart for Bahrain on Friday to participate in the Asian Youth Games, set to be held from Oct 22 to 31.

Pakistan is placed in Group ‘A’ along with Mong­olia and the hosts. The volleyball event at the Gam­es will feature 12 teams divided into four groups.

Group ‘A’: Pakistan, Mongolia, Bahrain; Group ‘B’: Iran, China, Qatar; Group ‘C’: Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia; Group ‘D’: Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Indonesia.

Pakistan squad: Tayyab Khan, Muhtad Ali Shah, Mohammad Yahya, Mohammad Talha, Mehar Mohammad Saud, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Anas, Khizar Hayat, Jabran Amin Jan, Faizan Ullah, Ajmal Junaid, Abu Bakar Siddique
