Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has travelled to Doha to participate in the Arab-Islamic summit, Al Jazeera reports citing the Wafa news agency.

Joining the delegation is Palestine Liberation Organisation Deputy Chairman Hussein al-Sheikh — widely seen as Abbas’s likely successor — along with several other Palestinian officials, according to Wafa.
