US President Donald Trump has said the conflict in Gaza is “hurting” Israel “especially in Congress”, Al Jazeera reports citing the Daily Caller news publication.

“Israel was the strongest lobby I’ve ever seen. They had total control over Congress, and now they don’t, you know,” Trump said.

“There’s no question about it. [Israel] may be winning the war, but they’re not winning the world of public relations,” he added.
