Extreme heat making desperate situation in Gaza far worse: UNRWA

The UN agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) has said that temperatures reached above 40°C in Gaza, which was “making an already desperate situation far worse”.

In a post on X, UNRWA said, “With very limited water available, dehydration is increasing.”

“Bombardments and forced displacement continue. With limited electricity and fuel, there is no relief from the extreme heat.”
