Israeli police have said they thwarted a suspected stabbing attack at the Qalandiya crossing, north of occupied East Jerusalem, after a Palestinian man allegedly pulled a knife on forces stationed there, Al Jazeera reports.

The suspect has been arrested, and no injuries have been reported.
