Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hit back at the wave of criticism targeting his cabinet’s decision to expand the conflict in Gaza, saying the country was prepared to fight without the support of others, AFP reports.

“We will win the war, with or without the support of others,” said the prime minister.
