The National Assembly in a session has unanimously adopted a resolution reaffirming Pakistan’s historic and unwavering support for the Palestinian people and condemning Israeli aggression in Gaza.

“The House unanimously adopted the resolution reaffirming Pakistan’s historic and unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle for freedom, dignity, and justice”, according to a post on the NA’s account on X.

The resolution “strongly condemns the recent statements and actions by Israeli authorities indicating plans in the long-term occupation of Gaza, the forced displacement of its population and efforts to erase the Palestinian identity of the territory.”

The resolution was moved by Member National Assembly Shazia Marri.

The House: “Expresses deep concern over the continuing and escalating Israeli military aggression in the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the mass killing of civilians, widespread destruction of bones and infrastructure, and a deepening humanitarian catastrophe,” the resolution read.
