Egypt has condemned “in the strongest terms” the firing of warning shots by Israeli troops at a diplomatic delegation in the occupied West Bank, which included Cairo’s ambassador to Ramallah, AFP reports.

The Egyptian foreign ministry said the incident “violates all diplomatic norms” and “demanded the Israeli side provide the necessary explanations” over its circumstances.
