Hundreds of Beit Lahiya residents have fled the area as they attempt to escape Israel’s bombardment, Al Jazeera Arabic reports.

The Israeli military has carried out an aerial assault on the Beit Lahiya area of northern Gaza over recent hours.

Israeli ground forces have stormed the city from the western section.

Israeli soldiers are besieging a shelter west of the city, as they carry out arrests and order displaced women and children to evacuate the area using loudspeakers, Quds News Network reports.
