Norway Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide expressed concern over the ongoing escalation between India and Pakistan during a phone call with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, according to the Foreign Ministry.

He appreciated the “restraint shown by Pakistan” while emphasising on the need for de-escalation to avoid further conflict. Eide further conveyed his condolences on the “tragic loss of civilian lives”.
