PTI lawmaker Amir Dogar has said every member and supporter of his party was standing firm with the armed forces amid rising tensions between Pakistan and India.

“Our leader, Imran Khan, has sent the message from jail that we have to be resolute for the sovereignty and security of the country,” he said during a National Assembly session.

At the outset of his speech, Dogar said that the “butcher of Gujrat chose to attack Pakistan in the dark of the night”. But the military, particularly the air force, gave them a befitting response, he said.

Dogar vowed that Pakistan would take “revenge for each and every drop of blood shed by India”.
