A medical source in Gaza has confirmed to Al Jazeera Arabic that at least seven people have been killed in overnight Israeli attacks across the besieged enclave over recent hours.

Earlier, Israeli fighter jets had bombed the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing at least five people.

The location of the other two casualties is not currently known.
