Al Jazeera reports more casualties in southern Gaza, with the Quds News Network saying several more people have been killed and wounded in an Israeli attack on the Tal as-Sultan neighbourhood of Rafah.

The attack comes as the death toll from Israel’s predawn assault rose to at least 23.
