The Israeli military has informed residents in the Muqata’a neighbourhood in the occupied West Bank’s Tulkarem city they must evacuate their homes, Al Jazeera quotes the Palestinian Information Centre as saying.

They had been given a deadline of 12am local time (3am Pakistan time) to do so. The reason for the forced evacuation was not clear, the report added.

Israeli forces have also carried out raids in the city of Nablus and the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
