High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has said: “We welcome the Arab reconstruction plan, Gaza reconstruction plan, and (will) try to help as much as we can,” while speaking before the European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels, Al Jazeera reports.

She stressed the importance of global cooperation to help stabilise Gaza, affirming the EU’s readiness to step in with support.

Arab leaders have rallied around a $53 billion Gaza reconstruction plan that envisions a technocratic government and new housing and infrastructure for the whole population.
