GUJRAT: Police claimed on Thursday to have recovered a boy who had allegedly been kidnapped for ransom from a street near his school in New Model Town locality in Rehmania police precincts on Wednesday.

Police said Burhan (10) was kidnapped by two motorcyclists when he was returning home from school. On the complaint of the boy’s uncle, the police had registered a case against the unidentified kidnappers and started investigation.

During the initial investigation, footage of close-circuit TV (CCTV) cameras installed in the street showed that the suspects took away the boy wearing school uniform on a motorcycle.
