Abu Dhabi crown prince due today

ISLAMABAD: The Cro­wn Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mo­­h­a­med bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on Thursday for a one-day official visit focused on investment and economic cooperation, the Foreign Office (FO) said on Wednesday.

“At the invitation of Prime Minister Muham­m­­ad Shehbaz Sharif, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Shei­­kh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, will embark on his first official visit to Pakistan on Feb 27, 2025. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministe­­rs and senior officials, as well as prominent business leaders,” the FO stated.

Several MoUs expected to be inked during one-day official visit

The crown prince will hold discussions with Pakistani leadership, focusing on strengthening bilateral economic relations and exploring investment opportunities.

“During the visit, the crown prince will engage in wide-ranging interactions with the leadership of Pakistan, to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, reinforce historical bonds and promote economic as well as investment cooperation,” the FO statement added.

Officials said several ag­­reeme­nts and memora­n­­d­u­­ms of understanding wo­­u­ld be signed to enha­n­­ce co­­laboration in multiple sectors, fostering long-term economic partnerships.

“These commitments are expected to open new opportunities for joint ventures and projects aimed at furthering economic cooperation between both the countries and their people,” the FO said.
