Al Jazeerareports that a child has been killed after being shot in the chest by an Israeli sniper in the vicinity of al-Awda Square in central Rafah.

This came hours after a Palestinian was killed and another was critically injured in the ash-Shawka area east of the city.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian has died of critical wounds he sustained on the first day of the ceasefire in al-Shaboura camp in central Rafah.
