The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement expressed support for the establishment of the Hague Group, a coalition of nine countries seeking to impose legal, economic, and political costs on Israel for crimes against Palestinians, Al Jazeera reports.

“The Palestinian-led BDS movement welcomes the launch of the Hague Group — a group of states committed to holding Israel accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people, and to acting as a counterforce to the West’s double standards,” the group said in a statement.
